Mabel R. Chute         Onawa Sentinel  February 6, 2003

	Mabel R. Chute, 97, Onawa, Iowa passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2003  
at Whiting, Iowa
	Mabel was born June 4, 1905 near Sioux City, Iowa,  the daughter of 
Frank and Kay (White) Taft.  
	She married Frank Chute May 27, 1926 at her parents’ home.   Mr. Chute 
passed away February 12, 1976.  
	Survivors include four daughters; five grandchildren, and six great 
grandchildren,
	In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; 
two brothers, George and Clarence Taft and a grandson, Daniel Sorenson.
