Marie Danforth                             (From the collection of Vivian 
Norby Andersen)

	Marie Montross Danforth, 93, of Huntsville, Alabama, formerly of 
Onawa, Iowa, passed away July 16, 1984, at a nursing home in Huntsville, ALA.
	She was born in Sloan, Iowa, on March 26, 1891, the third child of 
George Daniel and Ida Alice Corr Montross.  There were two older brothers, 
Lloyd and Frank, and one younger sister, Grace, all of whom preceded Marie in 
death.
	Marie was married on June 16, 1916, to John Glen Danforth at Sloan, 
Iowa.  
         She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Anderson and Mrs. 
Elizabeth Randolph, six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
