         Delores “Dee” Sletten, 75, passed away  on Saturday, February 19, 
2000 at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.
	
	Dee was born August 14, 1924 in rural Sloan, Iowa, the daughter of 
Edwin and Goldie (Smith) Carlson.    On March 14, 1947 she married Robert 
Franklin Denney.  To this union two daughters were born. 
	Delores married Marvin Sletten on November 30, 1991 in Mason City, 
IA.  
	Delores is survived by her husband, Marvin, of Mason City, two 
daughters, Levida “Lee” Clough and her husband, E. Michael of Eden Prairie, MN 
and Linda Harnish of Manly, one sister, Jean Hadden and her husband, Lewis of 
Castana; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; seven step-children, 
David Sletten and his wife, Susan of Farmington, MN, Janice Reynoldson and her 
husband, Dennis of Mason City, Connie Steinlicht of Britt, Charlotte Milan and 
her husband, Terry of Bismarck, ND, Mervin Sletten and his wife, Ann of Mason 
City, Rod Sletten and his wife, Fran of Lexington, NC, and Patty Bierl and her 
friend, Van Evans of Nora Springs, sixteen step-grandchildren and five step-
great grandchildren.
	Delores was preceded in death by her parents, one great grandson, one 
step-son-in-law, and one step-granddaughter.
