	Doris Beatrice Ernst, 86, Iowa, died Thursday, October 1, 1987, in 
Colorado Springs, CO
	She was born July 15, 1901, at Sloan to Joseph and Oveda (Hansen) 
Miquelon.   On June 1, 1924, she married George Ernst in Onawa.  Mr. Ernst 
died in February 1965 at Sloan.  
	Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Warren (Evonne) Johnson of 
Colorado Springs, three sons, Dale of Minnetonka, Minn., the Rev. Richard of 
Cedar Rapids, and Ronald of Sloan, 13 grandchildren and 9 great grand-children.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George, one 
infant daughter, Anna Louise, two brothers, Cyr Miquelon and Lee Miquelon, and 
one sister, Mrs. Mae Ogden.
