Leo Farber
PIERSON, Iowa - Leo Farber, 89, of Pierson died Monday, May 11, 1998, at a 
Sioux City hospital.

Mr. Farber was born May 6, 1909, in rural Correctionville, Iowa, the son of 
James H. and Minnie (Gibbs) Farber. He was raised in the Correctionville and 
Anthon, Iowa area.

He married Marjorie Pease on Nov. 12, 1934, in South Sioux City. 

Survivors include his wife; two daughters; a son and his wife of Okoboji, 
Iowa; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Margaret 
Handke of Anthon, Mildred Nourse of Missouri Valley, Iowa and Lena Zimmerman 
of Atlantic, Iowa; and a sister-in-law, Marjorie Farber of Moville, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Clarence, Floyd, Homer and Tom; and 
three sisters, Winifred Farber in infancy, Edna Handke and Mary Lee Krueger.
