     Stella V. Fredrickson, age 92 of Mapleton, Iowa, died Saturday, February 
15, 2003, at Correctionville, Iowa. 
    Stella Viola Fredrickson was born April 20, 1910, on a farm near Danbury, 
the daughter of Charles and Nellie (Davis) Bumsted. 
    On February 16, 1931, she married George T. Fredrickson in Ida Grove. 
George passed away September 18, 1985 in Sioux City. 
     Survivors include her daughter of Sioux City; her son and his wife of 
Moville; her brother and his wife, Earl and Beverly Bumsted of Ute; four 
grandsons; four great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law.
       Along with her husband, Stella was preceded in death by her parents, 
three sisters, Mary, in infancy, Nellie, and Lucile Christopherson; six 
brothers, Gaylord, Charles, Roy, Glen, Lloyd and Floyd Bumsted; and her son-in-
law, Keith Collins.
