	Charles G. Hofling, 65, Sioux City, died Monday, Nov. 7, 1994, at a 
Sioux City hospital.
	
	Mr. Hofling was born Feb. 16, 1929, in Beresford, S.D., the son of 
Isadore G. and Dagmar W. (Nelson) Hofling. He married Beverly Ranum Oct. 13, 
1958, in Elk Point.  
	
	Survivors include his wife; a daughter and her husband, and a sister,  
of Onawa, Iowa.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Louise Ulvog and 
Evelyn Jongeling and two brothers, Isadore Hofling and James Hofling.
