	Carol Kruwell, 90, Elgin, Ill., and formerly of Sioux City, died 
Sunday, April 23, 1989, in Elgin. 
	Mrs. Kruwell, the former Carol Christianson, was born April 12, 1899, 
in Iowa, the daughter of C.R. and Mathilda (Olson) Christianson.  Her husband, 
Glenn Kruwell preceded her in death in 1958.  
	Survivors include nieces and nephews.
	She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters, Esther and 
Helen and three brothers, Harry, Clifford and Tony.
