     Orville H. Miltenberger, 86, of Sloan died Wednesday, April 26, 2000, at 
Burgess Health Center in Onawa, Iowa.
	
	Mr. Miltenberger was born Dec. 5, 1913, in Cortland, NE, the son of 
John and Lizzy (Schroeder) Miltenberger.
	He married Lucille Woidneck on May 2, 1934, in Cortland.  
	
	Survivors include his wife; a son and his wife, William “Bill” and 
Penelope of Sloan; a daughter and her husband, Beverly and Stephen Longval of 
Sloan; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Naomi 
Fuhrman of Gering, Neb., and Gladys Sullivan of Florence, Ore.; and many 
nieces and nephews.
	He was preceded in death by four sisters, Pearl Haupt, Dorothy 
Boesinger, Iva Carlson and Gertrude in infancy; and two brothers, John LeRoy 
and Floyd.
