Mrs. Bernard Oien                     (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Mrs. Bernhard Oien, 89, died Monday at a nursing home.
	
	Mrs. Oien, the former Clara V. Bentson, was born June 12, 1892, in 
Sioux City and was a lifelong resident.
	She married Bernhard Oien June 2, 1917, at Sioux City.  He died here 
Aug. 22, 1960.
	Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. M. L. (Ruth) Andersen; a brother, 
Ray Benson; a sister, Mrs. Dan (Ruth) Engebretson, all of Sioux City; one 
grandson and two great-grandchildren.
