 Bertha Olson, 91, of Hornick, IA died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003,at Mapleton, Iowa.

Mrs. Olson was born May 29, 1911, in Delmont, S.D., the daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. Jacob Fauth. She married Milo E. Olson on Nov. 10, 1928, in Elk Point, 
S.D. He died March 12, 1997, in Battle Creek, Iowa.

Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Donna and Norman 
Christensen of Mapleton, and Shirley and Larry Frederiksen of Council Bluffs, 
Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; 
and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jane Scheer; a brother and two 
sisters.
