	Jessie Gibbel Petersen, 88, formerly of Chicago, IL, died on January 
4, 1993, at Gainesville, FL.
	She was born September 1, 1904, at Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of 
Henry and Julia (Swenson) Gibbel
	Survivors include two nieces, Avis Chapmen, Vancouver, WA, and Phyllis 
Isaacs of Gainesville, FL and Duane Seaton of Selma, IA; and fifteen grand 
nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, 
Gertrude Seaton, and one brother, Henry Gibbel, Jr.
