Leonard E. Stephenson
ANTHON, Iowa - Leonard Emerson Stephenson, 87, of Anthon died Tuesday, Feb. 
24, 1998 in Battle Creek, Iowa.

Mr. Stephenson was born March 10, 1904, in Holstein, Iowa, the son of Elmer 
Emerson and Sarah Caroline (Long) Stephenson.

He married Mabel Aaby on Dec. 13, 1924, in Carroll, Iowa.  She died Aug. 7, 
1974. 

Survivors include two sons and their wives, all of Ute, IA; three sisters, 
Edna Klemmensen of Moville, Iowa, Patriat Anderson and Sarah Nell Stephensen, 
both of Ida Grove, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four daughters, a granddaughter, Elizabeth 
Hollowood, three great-grandchildren and three sisters.
