Turner, 46, of Soldier died at the Onawa hospital Monday after a series of heart attacks the past few days. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Pearson Chapel in Soldier with Rev. Maynard Moen officiating and committal services at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Neligh, Nebr. With a brother, Rev. Raymond Turner, in charge. Arrangements were in charge of Pearson Funeral Home of Soldier. Mr. Turner was born at Wes Plaines, Missouri March 14, 1914 and died at the Onawa hospital September 26, 1960. He was married to Alice Holmes November 25, 1938. To this union was born five children. He was a member of the Methodist church and was a salesman by trade, having recently worked for a Sioux City firm. Surviving are his wife, one son, Ralph Eugene, four daughters, Dixie (Mrs. Cadwell), Janet Kay, Alice Faye and Jaqualyn; his mother of Rockford, Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Johnson, Rockford, Ill. And Miss Lois Turner of West Plaines, Mo.; and three brothers, Fred of Pavillion, Wyoming, Raymond of Kansas City, Mo., and Frank, address unknown.
