Bjorgo, 82, of Kensett, died Monday (May 31, 1999) at his home. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Bethany Lutheran Church, Kensett, with the Rev. Selmer "Sam" Hernes officiating. Clinton Orlandas Bjorgo was born June 25, 1916, at Kensett, the son of Halvor and Minnie (Schultz) Bjorgo. He was a lifelong member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Kensett, where he was both baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith. Clinton was an avid fisherman and hunter and also enjoyed shopping for bargains. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Reta Ulve and her husband, Darrell, of Kensett, Paula Gerdes and her husband, Mark, of Lake Geneva, Wis., and Harlan Bjorgo and his wife, Connie, Moore, Okla.; grandchildren, Todd Ulve and Terri Siewert, both of Manly, Jason Gerdes of Forest City, Matt Gerdes of Lake Geneva, and Brandi, Heather and Eric Bjorgo of Moore, Okla.; two great-grandchildren, Alex Siewert and Jessica Ulve; one brother, Harold Bjorgo and his wife, Charlotte, of Ankeny; brother-in-law, Raleigh Smith, of Kensett; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Verna; his sister, Bernice; and one granddaughter, Linda. Bride Colonial Chapel, 515 (454-2242).
