OBITUARY: Marcele JoAnne Dishon Jensen, Worth County, Iowa

                Services Wednesday for Marcele Jensen

Marcele JoAnne Dishon Jensen, 63, Northwood, IA, died on Dec. 15, 2001, at
the North Iowa Mercy Health Center, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 10:30 a.m. at the
First Lutheran Church, Northwood, with Rev.  Paul Holmer officiating. Burial
will be in Sunset Rest Cemetery, Northwood.

Marcele was born on Jan. 31, 1938 in Northwood, Iowa to Ralph and Bertha
(Kruse) Dishon.  She attended school in Mason City and moved to the Northwood
area in 1956.  She married William Erving Jensen on Nov. 7, 1958.  Marcele
was a babysitter for many years.  She also did dog grooming in her home.
She was employed at TownMart for many years and due to health problems had
to quit.   She enjoyed being with family and friends.  She also enjoyed
fishing, crocheting, cooking and baking.  She enjoyed her grandchildren
and great grandchildren and spending time with her mother and having coffee
with her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Dishon; father-in-law and
mother-in-law, Benjamin and Hattie Jensen. Survivors include her husband,
William; two children, Denise Kalvig and Dennis Jensen, both of Northwood;
her mother, Bertha Dishon of Northwood; grandchildren, Eric Jensen, Heather
and Nicholas Kalvig, all of Northwood, Phillip and Krystal Jensen from Mason
City; great-grandchildren, Elexis Marie Carrison and Marisa Renae Wendel,
both from Northwood; one sister Jeanette Jacks and her husband Larry from
Eaton, CO; sister-in-law Dorothy Lorentzen from Weslaco, TX; brother-in-law
Gordy Jensen and his wife Faye from Albert Lea, MN; many nieces and nephews
and friends.

Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, Northwood, was in charge of arrangements.
