OBITUARY: Irving Eide, Worth County, Iowa Irving Eide (81) of Gordonsville died September 7, 1984 in the Manly Care Center. His funeral was held at Silver Lake, with Rev. Al Stoa in charge. He was born November 25, 1902 in the Northwood area to John and Julia (Tenold) Eide. He attended school in the Northwood area. He married Ruby Johnson. They farmed near Glenville and Northwood and he worked for Smith Douglass Fertilizer Co. in Albert Lea. He retired in 1964, living on the farm until 1973 when they moved to Gordonsville. He was a WW II vet. He is survived by a daughter, Barbara Rosen, Scarville; three grandchildren and a sister, Lenore Eide, Glenville.
