OBITUARY: A.O. Gronseth, Worth County, Iowa (Newspaper unknown) A.O. Gronseth [1850-c1920] A.O. Gronseth (70) died suddenly today in his home south of the Graphic office where he has lived since 1915 when he married Mrs. Crawford, an aged widow. He had trouble with his heart and went over to the O.T. Groe home, their neighbor, to telephone a doctor. Shortly after getting back home, he died before the doctor arrived. He was born in Norway 1-1-1850. He came to Lake Mills in 1872 and married Malena Lunno. At one time, he lived on the Julius Christianson farm northwest of Lake Mills. He had one son, B.A. Gronseth, now a resident of Ingram, WI. In 1885, Mr. and Mrs. Gronseth moved to S.D. where they lived on a farm until 1896. Then they moved to Ingram, WA where Mrs. Gronseth died in 1908. Mr. Gronseth moved back to Lake Mills, Iowa and married a second time. He is survived by his widow and son. The funeral was held at the Anderson Undertaking Parlors, conducted by Rev. Slettern, with interment in the Bristol [American] Cemetery, four miles east of Lake Mills.
