OBITUARY: Asle Larson, Worth County, Iowa Asle Larson Asle Larson died August 13, 1950. His funeral was held at Silver Lake, with Rev. J.M. Haaland officiating. He was born January 25, 1865 in Nunda Twp., Freeborn Co., MN. He was baptized April 23, 1865 by Rev. T.A. Torgerson and confirmed on October 27, 1878 by Rev. L. Tosdal. He married Julia Sorenson on June 5, 1891 by Rev. N.E. Boe. Five children were born to the couple. One daughter, Alvina Janette died March 19, 1906 at 12 days. His wife died November 20, 1930. He is survived by four children, Henry on the Sorenson farm in Nunda Twp., Jimmie in Worth Co.; Mrs. Melvin Christian on the home place and Mrs. Malmin Madson, Worth Co. He is survived by three brothers, Herman, Wildrose, ND; Ole and Henry, Emmons; two sisters, Mrs. Theo. Anderson and Mrs. Lena Bergerson, Wildrose, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and three brothers. He was 85 years, 6 months and 19 days when he died at Naeve Hospital, Albert Lea, MN from a broken back and internal injuries received in a fall Saturday noon, August 12.
