OBITUARY: Henry Larson, Worth County, Iowa


                              Henry Larson

Henry Larson (81) Glenville, died Sunday at Naeve Hospital, Albert Lea,
MN of a heart condition. (Graphic 7-11-1973)  The funeral was held at
Silver Lake, with Rev. Otto Schmidt officiating and burial in the church
cemetery.  He was afforded military honors.  He had been a native of
Nunda Twp and was born June 5, 1892 to Asle and Julia Larson. His mother
died in 1930 and his father in 1950.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Bertha Christian and Jenetta
Larson.  He was a retired farmer.  He was a member of the Lewis Tveite
American Legion Post #317, VFW and Silver Lake Church.  He married Rose
Olson June 25, 1922 at Glenville.

He is survived by his wife; brothers, Arling, Emmons; Jimmie, Emmons; a
sister, Mrs. Mabel Madson, Northwood; three grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.
