OBITUARY: Gertrude E. Leegaard, Worth County, Iowa


                Mrs. Joseph K. (Gertrude E.) Leegaard

Mrs. Joseph K. (Gertrude E.) Leegaard (55) died July 10, 1966 from
complications of diabetes.  She had been a resident of Silver Lake the
past 36 years.  Her funeral was held at Silver Lake, with Rev. Norris
Hanson officiating.

She was born October 9, 1910  at Owatonna to Roy and Eva McCrady.  She was
a Sunday School teacher and member of Silver Lake Church.  She married
James Leegaard on June 8, 1930.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Dale, Albert Lea; three daughters,
Mrs. Delmar (Marilyn) Schnoor and Mrs. John (Alice) Moen, Albert Lea and
Mrs. Earl(Cheryl) Cavett, Lake Mills and sixteen grandchildren; seven
sisters and a brother, Mrs. Jack Finsrud, Bremerton, WA; Mrs. W.W. Henning,
St. Paul and Mrs. Charles Flanagen, El Paso, TX; Walter, Allyn, WA; Everette,
Anchorage, Alaska and Floyd, Martinsburg, West Virginia.
