OBITUARY: Mrs. Anne Nystuen, Worth County, Iowa


                         Mrs. Anne Nystuen

Mrs. Anne Nystuen (90) was born in Norway on August 11, 1824.  She
married Tosten Nystuen in 1852.  In 1854 she came to America, spending a
short while in Wisconsin.  In 1856 she came to Mitchell Co. and two
years later to Silver Lake Twp. where she lived until her husband died
on January 30, 1898, after which she made her home with her son.  She
died May 4, 1915 of chronic bronchitis.  Her funeral was held at the
United Lutheran Church of Silver Lake with Rev. Brenna officiating.  She
had nine children.  Six of her sons served as pall bearers.  John, Iver
and Ole Nystuen of Northfield, MN, Knut of Albert Lea and Gilbert of
Lake Mills attended the funeral.
