OBITUARY: Knut T. Nystuen, Worth County, Iowa Knut T. Nystuen Knut T. Nystuen was born June 18, 1862 near St. Ansgar, Iowa in Mitchell Co. He was baptized by Rev. Clausen. He came to Silver Lake with his parents when young and lived here the remainder of his life. He married Karina Harmon in 1894 by Rev. T.A. Torgerson. The couple had nine children, all surviving, Rudolph and Mrs. Roy Bergan, Lake Mills; Mrs. Abel Rensmon, Joice; Supt. Walter Nystuen, Havelock, IA; Mrs. William Reyerson, Albert Lea; Mrs. Edwin Reyerson, Hartland, MN; Vernon, Kensett; Floyd and Maurice, at home; 12 grandchildren; 4 sisters, Mrs. Sveen, Northfield; Mrs. Betsy Huus, Northwood; Mrs. Guri Bergan, Lake Mills and Annie Nystuen, Harland, MN. Three brothers preceded him in death, Ole on January 21, 1935; Tosten on December 31, 1935 and Gilbert on January 1, 1936. He had been ill with heart trouble and complications in October of 1934 and passed away on February 4, 1936.
