OBITUARY: Rudolph K. Nystuen, Worth County, Iowa Rudolph K. Nystuen Rudolph K. Nystuen (67) lifetime resident of Worth Co. died September 24, 1962 at the Vet's hospital in Minneapolis where he had been a patient since June. His funeral was held at Silver Lake with Rev. B.J. Nyjordet officiating. He was born June 4, 1895 in Worth Co. to Knut and Karina Harmon Nystuen. He was baptized at Somber Church by Rev. T.A. Torgerson and confirmed by Rev. O.C. Brenna at Silver Lake Lutheran Church. He married Dena Luella Sime on March 20, 1921 by Rev. Hans Fosness. Except for three years, he had lived all his married life on a farm in Silver Lake Twp. One daughter, Mrs. Wallace (Doris) Dahl of Kensett survives. He had suffered a heart attack five years ago when he retired. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Linda and LeAnn Dahl; 4 brothers and 3 sisters, Mrs. Abel Rensmon, Lake Mills; Walter, Washington, IA; Vernon, Kensett, IA, Mrs. William Reyerson, Emmons, MN; Mrs. Edwin Reyerson, Albert Lea, MN; Floyd, Red Wing, MN and Maurice, Northwood, IA.
