OBITUARY: John K. Sondrol, Worth County, Iowa John K. Sondrol John K. Sondrol (88) Worth Co. native and WW I vet died August 17, 1971 at the Iowa Soldiers Home, Marshalltown, where he had been a resident four years. His funeral was held at the Emmons church, with Rev. Clifford Paulson in charge and burial in the Silver Lake Cemetery. He was born August 8, 1883 to Mr. and Mrs. Knut Sondrol. He had attended Waldorf College and had been a farmer until he retired. He married Sophie Turtness on June 30, 1920. She preceded him in death, as well as two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Orville (Analyn) Peterson, Albert Lea; son, C.
