OBITUARY: Selmer Sorbo, Worth County, Iowa


                             Selmer Sorbo

Selmer Sorbo (74) Waconia, MN, passed away, with his funeral being held
at Silver Lake Church, with Rev. Otto Schmidtt officiating.  He was born
July 10, 1899 in Silver Lake Twp. to Nels and Caroline Sorbo.  He died
December 3l, 1973.  He was a farmer in Silver Lake most of his life.  He
married Bertha Loberg who died November 24, 1963.

On September 19, 1967 he married May Linder who survives him.

Also surviving is a son, Lynn, Mound, MN and five grandchildren; three
sisters, Mrs. Albert (Ida) Hagen, Mrs. Oscar (Inger) Kaasa, Lake Mills
and a brother, Knute, Emmons.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.
