OBITUARY: Franklin L. Sveen, Worth County, Iowa Franklin L. Sveen Franklin L. Sveen (48) Emmons, MN, Worth Co. native, died November 8, 1964 in Ancher Hospital, St. Paul, MN. He was born December 2, 1915 to Mr. and Mrs. Knute O. Sveen. He had lived in Richmond, CA, then Albert Lea and 22 months ago, went to St.Paul. He was an Emmons, MN high school graduate, WW II veteran and was single. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Melvin and brothers and sisters in infancy. He is survived by four brothers, Oliver, Albert Lea; Arthur, Ogilvie; Anthony, Richmond; and Obert, Twin Lakes; five sisters, Mrs. Rasmus (Cora) sundal, Mrs. Eldon (Fern) Wettlaufer and Mrs. Lillian Johnson, Albert Lea; Mrs. Norris (Bertha) Dahl, Eugene, Oregon; and Mrs. Stanley (Lulu) Sanderson,San Diego,CA. The funeral was held at Silver Lake, with Rev. Norris P. Hanson officiating. Military rites were performed by the Emmons Legion Post.
