OBITUARY: Gladys Marie Sveen, Worth County, Iowa Gladys Marie Sveen Gladys Marie Sveen, Albert Lea, MN died suddenly on March 11, 1989 at Naeve Hospital, Albert Lea, MN. The funeral was held at Silver Lake, with Rev. Allan Stoa in charge. She was born July 25, 1906 in Freeborn Co., MN to Henry and Sophie Larson. She married Ingebrit Martinson on February 6, 1924 and they lived on a farm near Lake Mills until her husband died on March 2l, 1936. She married Obert Sveen on July 6, 1938, and they farmed near Emmons and operated the grocery store in Emmons many years and the grocery store in Twin Lakes after they retired from farming. He died February 4, l980. They had moved to Albert Lea in 1980. Suriving are four sons and two daughters, Merle, Alden, MN; Orin Martinson, Albert Lea; Gordon, Glenville; Mrs. Wilford (Phyllis) Quam, Hayward; Mrs. James (Gloria) Kvale, Lake Mills and Gerald Sveen, Emmons; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. William (Laura) Gjersvik, Manchester, MN and a brother, Harlan Larson from California.
