OBITUARY: Pauline Sveen, Worth County, Iowa



                            Pauline Sveen

Pauline Sveen (84) of Britt passed away and her funeral was held
November 12 at Salem Church in Lake Mills, with Rev. Thomas Isaacson
officiating and interment in the Salem Lutheran cemetery.  Pallbearers
were Thomas Buns, Gary Buns, Kirk Pearson, Ron Brooks, Marshall Bredeson
and Terry Bredeson.  Mrs. Sveen died November 9 at the Britt hospital. 
She was born October 25, 1901 to Ole and Lina Bredeson near Thompson. 
At the age of ten, the Bredeson family moved to Lake Mills, where she
lived until three years ago when she moved to Britt.

She married Oliver Sveen at Albert Lea on June 16, 1921.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Muriel) Buns of Britt and Mrs.
Arden (Lois) Holstad of Tucson, Arizon; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren;
a sister, Mrs. Gilbert (Margaret) Bidne; and a brother, John Bredeson, Savannah,
GA.  She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one sister,
Lillian Lavrenz, and six brothers, Martin, Olaf, Chris, Arthur, Selmer and
Emil.
