OBITUARY: Agnes Lydia (Fadness) Talle, Worth County, Iowa


      Agnes Lydia (Fadness) Talle  [1871-1942]

MRS. KNUT TALLE (79) DIED October 28, 1942.  The funeral was held at  
Silver Lake Church, with the Rev. Casper T. Fjelstul officiating.

Agnes Lydia Talle was born November 4, 1871 in Silver Lake Twp. to
Jacob and Rachel Fadness.  She was confirmed by the Rev. Tosdahl.

She married Elling Sanvik in 1896.  She had two children, Mrs. Ida
Bendickson, Minneapolis, MN and Mrs. I. L. Moen, Lake Mills.  Mr.
Sanvik died in 1899.  In 1902, she married Knut Talle and they were
the parents of eight children:  Harry and Otto, at home; Mrs. Ed Gesme
and Mrs. Ray Wogen, Lake Mills; Mrs. Stanley Kittleson and Mrs. Howard
Stensrud, Joice; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Mr.
Talle died in 1936.

Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Gilma; a son, Karl
and two grandchildren, Keith and Marlene Gesme.  Surviving are two  
sisters, Tina Fadness and Mrs. O.K. Paulson and six brothers, Eddie,  
Carl, Martin, Knut, Oscar and Olai Fadness.
