OBITUARY: Owen C. Christianson, Worth County, Iowa


                          Owen C. Christianson

Owen C. Christianson (88) rural Northwood, died 7-12-1982, at the Lutheran
Retirement Home in Northwood.  His funeral was held at Silver Lake Church,
with the Rev. Mark Gravdal in charge.

He was born September 18, 1893 in Worth Co. to Tollef and Mary Christianson.

He farmed most of his life in the Silver Lake area.  He married Bertina
Breiseth in 1916.

He is survived by a son, Tillman, rural Northwood; two grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren, one sister, Alice Ellingson, Mora, MN and two brothers,
Roy, Gordonsville, MN and Gaylord, Albert Lea.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Bertina, one brother and four
sisters.
