OBITUARY: Jacob Carl Dralla 1990-1997, Worth Co., Iowa [ Mason City Globe Gazette; September 8, 1997 ] Jacob Carl Dralla NORTHWOOD -- Jacob Carl Dralla, 7, died Saturday (Sept. 6, 1997) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East, Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mark Bents and the Rev. Ed Harp of the Faith Assembly of God Church in Algona officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Rest Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Conner Colonial Chapel, 99 11th St. South, and one hour prior to service time on Tuesday at the church. Jacob Carl Dralla was born on Aug. 8, 1990, at North Iowa Mercy Health Center in Mason City, the son of Carl and Laura (Bunkofske) Dralla. He was dedicated by Jess Bennett, who is a friend of the family. Jacob was a second grader in Mrs. Heidi Vansteenburg's class in the Northwood-Kensett Elementary School. He enjoyed riding bikes, playing with race cars, playing with his brother, Adam, and riding on the tractor with his dad and uncle on the farm. He attended Sunday school at the First Lutheran Church in Northwood. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Carl and Laura Dralla of Northwood; one brother, Adam Dralla of Northwood; paternal grandmother, Virginia Dralla of Hanlontown, and the late Lloyd Dralla Sr.; maternal grandparents, David and Linda Bunkofske of Burt; maternal great-grandparents, Arleta and Milt Burlingame of Algona; nine aunts and uncles, Marian Montgomery of Mason City, Robert and Janis Hall of Mason City, Richard and Corie Rieman of Clear Lake, Howard and Chris Shepard of Forest City, Danny and Connie Buckman of Forest City, Lloyd Dralla Jr. of Northwood, Curtiss and Teri Dralla of Schuyler, Neb., Terry and Ginger Lowe of Polk City and Paul Bunkofske of Louisville, Ky.; many cousins and great-cousins, as well as other relatives and friends.
