OBITUARY: Julia Ferley, Worth County, Iowa



                             Julia Ferley

Julia Ferley (77) formerly of Northwood, died May 8, 1980 in an Ames
nursing home.  The Rev. David Scherer officiated at her funeral, with
burial in the Silver Lake Cemetery.

She was born August 20, 1902 in Lake Mills to Lewis and Josephine (Jensen)
Ferley.  Most of her life was spent in Worth Co.  She was a Northwood high
school graduate of 1922.  She attended Hamilton Business College, Mason
City and worked as a bank teller after that.  She worked several years
as a secretary to the Worth Co. School Supt.

She is survived by a nephew, Alton Halvorson, Ames.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Adolph and a sister,
Bertha.
