OBITUARY: June E. Haugerud, 1924-1981, Worth County, Iowa


                          June E. Haugerud

June E. Haugerud (56) from Emmons died January 10, 1981 at St. Mary's
Hospital.  She had been a resident of Emmons since 1944.  She was born March
8, 1924 in Albert Lea to Ernest and Hannah Kabrud.  She also has lived in
Glenville.  She married Orian Haugerud on March 18, 1944 in Silver Lake.
Member of Glenville American Legion.

She is survived by one son, John, Emmons; one daughter, Mrs. Dan (Karen)
Robson, Scarville; 10 grandchildren; her mother in Albert Lea; five sisters,
Mrs. William (Doris) Thompson and Betty Goodemannn of Albert Lea; Mrs.
Thomas (Marion) Hintz and Mrs. Richard (Pat) McGuire, both of Glenville
and Mrs. Gordon (Joan) Beiker of Easton.

She was preceded in death by her father, her husband in 1975 and one son,
Ordeen in 1972.

Funeral was held at Silver Lake, with the Rev. Carroll D. Lang in charge.
