OBITUARY: Amanda Hefta, 1892-c1975, Worth County, Iowa



                             Amanda Hefta

Amanda Hefta (83) died and her funeral was held at Grace Lutheran Church,
Albert Lea, with the Rev. Milton Ost officiating and burial in the Silver
Lake Cemetery. She was born August 23, 1892 in Worth Co. to Mr. and Mrs.
Knute Sondrol and lived in the Silver Lake area until 1949 when she moved to
Albert Lea. She married Andrew Hefta on June 11, 1924 at Silver Lake.  She
had worked as a Naeve housekeeping employee.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Donald in infancy and
her husband on October 27, 1954; three brothers, Clarence, Peter and John
Sondrol and five sisters, Sarah Hanson, Bertina Flattrum, Anette Turtness,
Mabel Hagen and Clara Turtness.
