OBITUARY: Juliet Bernice Johnson, Worth County, Iowa [Northwood Anchor online -- June 11, 2002 -- www.northwoodanchor.com] Juliet Bernice Johnson Juliet Bernice Johnson, 79, Northwood, died Monday, June 3, 2002 at the Lutheran Retirement Home, Northwood. Funeral services were Thursday at the First Lutheran Church, Northwood, with Rev. Paul Holmer officiating. Burial will take place at the North Blue Earth Lutheran Cemetery, Bricelyn, MN. Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, Northwood, was in charge of arrangements. Julie Johnson was born Feb. 6, 1923 in Crosby, ND to Ole and Matilda (Wesby) Overland. She married Ray Amundson in 1940. She raised three children. In 1951 she was employed at Munsingwear in Albert Lea, MN. In 1961 she moved to Little Falls, MN to continue her work at the factory. She worked until she was 59 years old. After her retirement she continued with her sewing and crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Ray Victor Amundson and Harold Johnson; one son Robert. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Aase, Northwood, and Carol Heath, Woodbridge, VA; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Orville Overland, Crosby, ND, and Gordon Overland, Alamo, ND; two sisters, Luella Johnson, Crosby, ND, and Doris Johnson, Crosby, ND.
