OBITUARY: Laura Suzanne McQuatters Lanstrum, Worth County, Iowa

                         Laura Suzanne Lanstrum

Laura Suzanne Lanstrum, 79, Northwood, IA, died on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2002 at
her home in Northwood.

Memorial services are scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 1 p.m. at Schroeder
& Sites Funeral Home, Northwood. Burial will be in the Sunset Rest Cemetery,
Northwood.

Laura was born on Nov. 3, 1922 in Northwood to Claude and Hazel (Buchanan)
McQuatters. She served her country in the U.S. Navy. Laura married Eldon
Lanstrum on Dec. 5, 1941 at the Little Brown Church. She owned and operated
a beauty shop in Northwood for many years.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother.

Survivors include two sons, Alexander Lanstrum of Little Elm, TX and Terrance
Lanstrum of Boone, IA; one brother, James McQuatters of Albuquerque, NM; one
sister, Ruth Shirley Drury of Northwood; 10 grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Northwood Public Library, Northwood.

Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, Northwood, was in charge of arrangements.
