OBITUARY: Lyle C. Lindquist, Worth County, Iowa

             Lindquist formerly of Kensett, dies in California

Notice of the death of Lyle C. Lindquist, formerly of Kensett, was received
by the Anchor.

He lived in Kensett from 1930-1934. He was born March 26, 1918 of parents
Marshall and Martha Lindquist. He graduated from Kensett High School in
1933 and lived in Stockton, CA since 1939 and was a tax auditor for the
state of California for 35 years.

His wife and daughter Martha and Carole were killed in an auto accident
in 1987.

Survivors include a daughter Claudia Rotert, Stockton, CA and son Martin
Lindquist of Oregon.
