OBITUARY: Karen Loberg, 1844-1919 Worth county, Iowa



                           Karen Loberg

Mrs. Peder (Karen) Loberg died 1-10-1919.  Funeral at Silver Lake with
Rev. Brenna in charge.  She was born in Solor, Norway 3-29-1844.  She
married Peder Loberg on 4-14-1866.  They came to America the same year
and lived in Silver Lake Township ever since.

Twelve children: Mrs. Wm. Anderson, Lake Mills; Mrs. A.O. Westland,
Lake Mills; Lewis Loberg Pingree, ND; Mrs. Syverson, Leland; Olaf and
Carrie Loberg, at home; Mrs. Bergan, Sharon, ND; Mrs. Rugland, Sharon, ND;
John Loberg, Leland; William Loberg, Minneapolis; Mena Loberg, Hawick, MN;
25 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
