              Obituary for Christina Knutsdatter Stime

Woman, 89, Dies As Result of Complications

Mrs. Sylvester (Christina) Knutson, 89, died Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at Naeve
Hospital. Death resulted from complications.

She was born April 22, 1869, at Northwood, Iowa.

Since 1947, until she returned to Albert Lea this year, she had been living
with her daughter, Mrs. Ray (Clara) Broten in California. Mrs. Broten
survives. Also surviving are three sons: Melvin, Henry and Albert. A
brother survives in Northwood.

Mrs. Knutson was married to Sylvester Knutson in 1898. He preceded her
in death some years ago.

Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Saturday at the Freeborn Funeral
Home. The Rev. J. O. Tweten will officiate. Burial will be at the Graceland
Cemetery.
