OBITUARY: Larry G. Walk, Worth County, Iowa [Northwood Anchor online - www.northwoodanchor.com - April 30, 2002] Larry G. Walk Larry G. Walk, 59, of Little Cedar, died suddenly Saturday, April 27, 2002, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage. Funeral services were Wednesday at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville with Fr. Joseph Schneider officiating. Interment was in Visitation Catholic Cemetery in Stacyville. Larry was born May 26, 1942 in Mason City, the son of George and Dorothy (Luth) Walk. He graduated from Little Cedar High School in 1960. He married Louise Adams on July 20, 1974, at Stacyville, IA. He farmed, had worked at White Farm in Charles City, Fieldstone Cabinets in Northwood, and was now a mechanic at Fox River Mills in Osage. Larry loved his family, and enjoyed gardening, yard work, building things, and many other outdoor activities. Survivors include his wife Louise of Little Cedar; one son Lynn Joseph Walk of Little Cedar; sister-in-law Carolyn Walk of Rochester, MN; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Duane Walk in September 2001, and many aunts and uncles.
