OBITUARY: June K. (Reynolds) Brown, 1917-2003, Worth Co., Iowa [ Northwood Anchor online, Oct 7, 2003 ] June K. Brown Funeral service for June K. Brown, 86, was Saturday, October 4, 2003, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. June K. Brown, of Waterloo, formerly of Evansdale, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Covenant Medical Center of complications following heart surgery. She was born June 28, 1917, in Mason City, daughter of Howard W. and Clara M. Peterson Reynolds. She married John M. Brown, Aug. 27, 1939 in Nashua. He died Oct. 27, 1993. Mrs. Brown was employed as a sales clerk at Lederman Clothing Inc. in Evandsale for 20 years. She was a long time member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, a lifetime member of Good Sam's RV Camp Club, and at the time of her death was secretary of the Rath Retirees. Survivors include four daughters, Bonnie (Richard) Manfull of East Moline, Illinois, Sheryll (Stanley) Karns of Lansing, Susan (Steven) Niedert of Dubuque, and Kathleen (Ron) Fulton of Brandon; three sisters, Fern Long of Waterloo, and Lucille and Betty of South Dakota; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, Carl and Robert Johnston and Arnold and Clifford Reynolds; two sisters, Phyllis Stevenson and Violet Johnston; one grandson and one great- granddaughter.
