OBITUARY: Even Hagen, c1875-1939, Worth County, Iowa Even Hagen Even Hagen (64) died March 18, 1939 at a Mason City hospital, after having a leg amputated from gangerene. He was a well-known farmer in the community east of Lake Mills. He is survived by his wife and twelve children: Mrs. Palmer Lande, Northwood; Mrs. Alvin Aarhus, Albert Lea; Mrs. Wilbur Jensen, Mason City; Leonard Hagen, Kensett; Gilman, Kensett; Bernice Hagen, Northwood; Elmer, Clifford, John, Lloyd and Aldon, at home; Thelma, Mason City; 11 grandchildren. A brother, Kittle, preceded him in death. He is survived by a brother, Ellef, two sisters, Mary Hanson, Northwood and Mrs.Albert (Emma) Jostad, Bottinneau, ND.
