OBITUARY: Palma Halvorson, c1903-1982, Worth County, Iowa
                          

                            Palma Halvorson

Palma Halvorson (79) Emmons, died October 16, 1982 at an Albert Lea, MN 
nursing home.  The funeral was held at Somber Evangelical Lutheran 
Church, rural Lake Mills, with the Rev. Alf Merseth officiating and 
burialo in the church cemetery.  She was born November 30, 1902 in 
Silver Lake Twp., Worth Co. to Hans and Louisa Halvorson.  She lived 
most of her life in Emmons.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Viola) Dahl and Mrs. Herbert
(Dena) Peterson, both of Emmons and a niece, Mrs. Gary (Molly) Bachtle
and a nephew, Ron Halvorson, both of Northwood and other relatives in
the Northwood-Emmons area.
