OBITUARY: Amos H. Hanson, 1876-1966, Worth County, Iowa Amos H. Hanson Amos H. Hanson (90) lifetime resident of the Northwood vicinity, died September 6, 1966 at the Northwood Retirement Home where he had been a resident three months. He died of advanced age. He was a native of Brookfield Twp. where he was born January 17, 1876 to Hans and Ragnild Hanson. He was a retired farmer. He married Mary Orpen on November 17, 1908. She died December 17, 1918. Also preceding him in death was a son, Henry; a daughter, Lillian, a sister and four brothers. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ed Trustem, Northwood and Mrs. Ernest Genarich, Hatton, ND; a son, Reuben, Northwood and an adopted son, Milton Aarbuck, rural Northwood; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Sanden, Kensett and Mrs. Clara Sather, Durbin, ND; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
