OBITUARY: Katherine Beatrice Hanson, 1888-1958, Worth County, Iowa



                        Katherine Beatrice Hanson

Katherine Beatrice Hanson died Monday after a fatal heart attack.  She
had been in good health prior to her death.  She was reared in the
Silver Lake community and was for a time employed in a Scarville store. 
She moved with her mother to Lake Mills in 1945 where they have since
lived.  She was born March 10, 1888 to Hans S. and Katherine Hanson. 
She was baptized and confirmed by the Rev. T.A. Torgerson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.

She is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Ross Perry, Osage and Mrs. Alfred
Tjernagel, Story City and a nephew, Swen Hanson.

The funeral was held at the Lake Mills Synod Church, with the Rev.
Gerhart Becker officiating.     (1958)
