OBITUARY: Gilbert Heltne, 1880-1973, Worth Co., Iowa 



                             Gilbert Heltne
                               
Gilbert Heltne (93) died December 25, 1973 at Naeve Hospital, Albert Lea.  

The funeral was held at Silver Lake, with the Rev. Otto Schmidt officiating.

He was born June 28, 1880 on a Worth Co. farm to Peter and Anna Dahl Heltne,
spending his entire life here.  He married Lena Evenson on March 14, 1909.   
She died March 27, 1921.

He is survived by a son, Palmer, Lake Mills and three daughters, Mrs.
Juell (Alva) Sorenson, Lake Mills; Mrs. Maurice (Gladys) Severson,
Northwood and Mrs. Leland (Valborg) Campbell, St. Cloud, MN;
11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.
