OBITUARY: Helene Henderson, c1876-1960, Worth County, Iowa



                           Helene Henderson

Helene Henderson (84) died September 21, 1960 at her home of a stroke 
suffered Saturday.  She was a lifetime pioneer resident of the Silver 
Lake community and active member of Sion Church.  She married Andrew 
Henderson in 1893.  He died 1923.

She is survived by three sons: Thomas, Lake Mills; Earl, Albert Lea and
Nels, Emmons; five daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Selma) Horvei, Albert Lea;
Mrs. Melvin (Myrtle) Nelson, Twin Lakes; Mrs. Naven (Evelyn) Minear,
Minneapolis; Mrs. Carl (Alice) Tozer, Hesperia, MI and Bertha Henderson,
Chicago; 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.  The funeral was
conducted by the Rev. Harvey Gilbertson at Sion Church.  (Graphic 9-28-1960
