OBITUARY: Thomas O. Henderson, 1911-1988, Worth County, Iowa




                          Thomas O. Henderson

Thomas O. Henderson (77) died September 22, 1988 at his home following a 
lengthy illness.  He was born June 22, 1911 in Silver Lake Twp., the son 
of Andrew and Helen (Troe) Henderson.

He married Ida Lyngaas February 18, 1937 in Worth Co.  He farmed in
Worth Co and worked at Wilson & Co. in Albert Lea, retiring after 21
years of service.

He is survived by his wife; seven daughters:  Mrs. Paul (Karen) Orth,
Manly; Mrs. Brian (Helen) McMullen, Irene Bock, Linda Boleneus and
Virginia Peterson, all of Albert Lea; Mrs. Leon (Hazel) Willert, Lake
Mills and Mrs. Patrick (Terry) Cunningham, Forest City; a son, Thomas
Jr., Kenyon, MN; 19 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and four
sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Selma) Horvei, Albert Lera; Myrtle Nelson, Lake Mills;
Alice Tozer, Michigan and Mrs. Nevan (Evelyn) Minear, Minneapolis, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, five brothers, one 
granddaughter and one great-grandson
