OBITUARY: Raymond A. Hopperstad, 1911-1980, Worth Co., Iowa



                         Raymond A. Hopperstad

Raymond A. Hopperstad (69) died August 2, 1980 at Naeve Hospital, Albert
Lea, MN.  The funeral washeld at Silver Lake, with the Rev. Carroll Lang
officiating.

He was born April 23, 1911 in Worth Co. to John and Andrena (Sime)
Hopperstad.  He was a farmer in Worth Co.  He married Alfreda Baklund
on November 15, 1936 in Hartland Twp., Worth Co.  He was a member of the
elevator board, school board, election board and township trustee.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Jerry, Northwood and Lonnie, Forest
City; two daughters, Judy, St. Paul and Mrs. Gary (Vickie) Schmidt,
plymouth, MN, and seven grandchildren.
